Doc Savage
Wold Newton Universe
Originally written as a screen treatment for a Doc Savage movie, called Doc Savage: Archenemy of Evil, as a sequel to the first Doc film. However that first movie, Doc Savage: The Man of Bronze, didn't do as well as the producers hoped for, so plans for the second one were shelved. The treatment has never been used, these are the first –somewhat reformatted– publications.
DESCRIPTION:
Paul Spiteri in his introduction: "Whether one is shocked, repelled, or fascinated by Farmer's Doc Caliban stories, they are certainly hard to forget ... Doc Savage and the Cult of the Blue God is a straight portrayal of Doc and his aides ... Based loosely on the 1936 pulp novel Murder Mirage, Farmer's previously unpublished treatment is an action-packed adventure with more than one Wold Newton ancestor thrown in for fun."
