DESCRIPTION:
From the introduction: "...In September 1955, US President Eisenhower suffered a heart attack. At the time, author Philip José Farmer had been reading The Golden Bough by James George Frazer, which inspired him to write the following short story. Under the circumstances, Frederik Pohl, then the editor at Galaxy magazine, felt that the story was in poor taste. Farmer put it away...".
