DESCRIPTION:
Win Scott Eckert: «...a treatment that actually could have been filmed for Star Trek. The story is a character-driven melodrama demonstrating the folly of unchecked ego and misplaced patriotism, right up 1960s Trek's alley ... it is interesting to note that the plot bears no little resemblance to a first season episode of Star Trek: The Next Generation, "The Neutral Zone," in which the Enterprise crew finds floating in space the cryogenically frozen bodies of several humans from 1990s Earth. Upon thawing and revivification, one of the characters is revealed to be arrogant and ego-driven, causing a minor amount of chaos aboard the ship...»
