The first
publication was in the UK, seven months before the first US
publication. Even the French publication was before the US one.
According to Farmer in his introduction, his story was used in the Twilight Zone TV
show, "Garrity and the Graves". That was done without Phil's
knowledge and permission. He wasn't paid for it, for the
TV show story was written by someone else...
DESCRIPTION:
In the West,
in Arizona in a place called Acheron, some con men arrive claiming to
be able to rise the dead. One of them is resurrected as to proof the
claim. Other town's people can also be brought back from the dead. But
what happens, people start paying large amounts of money for just not
to bring back the deceased...
