(11/2011) Christopher Carey finished Phil Farmer's third Opar / Khokarsa novel, The Song of Kwasin. Subterranean Press publishes in 2012 an omnibus with all three Opar / Khokarsa novels, Gods of Opar: Tales of Lost Khokarsa. An interview about the third novel with the co-author.

(06/2016) The Dayworld series has a prequel, the novel A Hole in Wednesday. This one is written by Philip José Farmer in collaboration with Danny Adams, his grand-nephew. Danny completed the unfinished novel.
Interview with Win Scott Eckert
(08/2009) Phil started the novel The Evil in Pemberley House in the early 1970s, but never finished it. When the original manuscript was found again Win got permission from Phil to finally finish it. Subterranean Press published it in 2009.

Philip José Farmer: Grand Master 2001
(05/2001) Farmer received the Grand Master Award at the Nebula Award Banquet on Saturday April 28, 2001. The award was presented to him by Harlan Ellison.
Riverworld (2003) movie
(11/2004) A pilot movie (90 minutes) but the rest was not filmed. Aired for the first time in March 2003 on Sci-Fi Channel. Came in 2004 on DVD.
Riverworld (2010) movie
(03/2010) A mini series, in two parts (total 3 hours). Aired for the first time on April 18th, 2010 on Syfy (US). Syfy was previously called Sci-Fi Channel.
The Spirit of Science Fiction, by Roberto Bolaño
(08/2019) An essay by Fred Fischer about Roberto Bolaño's novel The Spirit of Science Fiction. The book contains an open letter to Philip José Farmer, with permission reprinted in the essay, about for instance the use of the theme sex in science fiction.
