Farmerphile
is a quarterly fanzine completely by and about Philip José
Farmer. At first ten issues were planned, featuring in each
issue a part of the previous unpublished novel Up From the
Bottomless Pit
and other unpublished stories. More stories were found in the archives
(called "The Magic Filing Cabinet") of PJF, and another five issues
were
published. Number 15 is the final issue.
The publisher
of Farmerphile is Michael Croteau, also webmaster
of The
Official PJF Home Page. Editors are Christopher
Paul Carey, Paul Spiteri and Win Scott Eckert.
Each issue did cost $10.00, from January 2008 on each issue did cost
$11.00. Only twenty-five copies of each issue
are signed by PJF, and were sold for $40.00 each. |
